Tummo, Or "inner fire", is an ancient meditation technique practiced by monks in Tibetan Buddhism.
It consists of a combination of breathing and visualization techniques, used to enter a deep state of meditation which is used to increase a person's "inner warmth".
This internal heat allows someone to control their body temperature, for example by keeping the body warm in cold conditions.Everyone has this inner warmth, but most people aren't aware of it. By knowing and practicing this technique, we can awaken it whenever we wish.
Practicing tummo meditation on a daily basis can have several positive effects on your well-being. First of all it helps you clear your mind, as monks traditionally use it to abstract from intrusive or forbidden thoughts.
This system combines tummo with diksha so you can have direct access to the Divine within. It has the power to release trauma, physical, mental and emotional. The energies flow directly to the physical heart and heart chakra. It often brings many emotional openings to the receiver and a heightened emotional state isexperienced for some times. this is a very deep and profound healing.
